This former Londis shop on Station road, Perham Down, Wiltshire has an established change of use to become a daycare nursery. We have worked closely with our clients, Poppies Daycare Nursery Limited, in designing a practical, fully accessible and modern looking Nursery whilst maintaining the external characteristics yet providing pleasing aesthetics.
Our brief was to transform this former Londis shop into a fresh vibrant Daycare Nursery, the initial requirement was to establish a change of use, our next step is to put a package together to deliver a full renovation.

I commissioned Peter to provide designs for a new nursery in what had been a former shop, and then to provide project management services for the duration of the build - from planning to handover of the keys. Peter Tesar's work impressed me on all levels. He had a good sense of what I was seeking in my vision of a new build and produced a beautiful design, totally transforming a dilapidated shop building into a purpose built 'Children's Daycare Nursery. During the project, Peter was able to adapt his designs when we requested changes quickly and effectively, and was also able to suggest improvements that hadn't occurred to us due to his command of the brief. The project was completed in a timely manner. This was largely due to his effective listening and excellent communication skills. I would recommend Peter Tesar Architectural Design unequivocally and he would be the first person I would turn to for future projects.
