This luxury swimming pool and pool house project near Stockbridge, Hampshire, showcases our expertise in bespoke residential design, planning, technical detailing and project management. Designed to complement a beautiful Hampshire farmhouse, the development combines high-quality architecture with sustainable technology to create a stunning year-round leisure facility.
The new build features a 12m x 6m heated swimming pool and a 2m x 2m temperature-controlled spa, both finished in premium mosaic tiles for a timeless, luxury appearance. The pool house also includes dedicated changing room facilities and a separate plant room, ensuring the building is both practical and easy to maintain.
Designed to maximise the connection between the building and its landscaped surroundings, the pool house incorporates almost 18 metres of openable glazing, opening directly onto an expansive patio and entertaining area. Internally, underfloor heating and a specialist air handling system provide a comfortable environment throughout the year while maintaining clear, condensation-free glazing.
The architecture has been carefully developed to reflect the character of the existing farmhouse. Traditional materials including render, face brickwork and oak cladding have been combined with a solid oak-framed entrance porch, creating a building that sits naturally within its rural Hampshire setting.
Sustainability has been integral to the design. A recessed flat roof conceals a substantial solar PV system with battery storage, generating renewable energy for both the new pool house and the main residence while preserving the clean architectural appearance of the building.
