Peter Tesar Architectural Design is building for the future.
We are delighted to announce the employment of a new apprentice that has started here at PTAD.
Maintaining the family run business theme, William Tesar shall be embarking on an Apprenticeship Degree at Portsmouth University studying Architecture, the course title is Architectural Assistant Degree Apprenticeship BA (Hons). As of September, when the course officially starts, a four year journey awaits! Exciting times.
Every month a log is to be kept for our new apprentice, detailing what is done within the month and how it has furthered his knowledge, tasks and projects will be set up by the University for the apprentice to do within working hours also.
During term time, you’ll spend 1 day a week on day release at the University and the other 4 days applying your skills and getting practical experience in the workplace.

Our young apprentice will be armed with tasks and various modules to help understand the overview of what we do here. William is already accompanying us on client meetings, and also being part of the site surveys, which then will then translate into CAD Design Schemes.
The scope of works range from residential properties to commercial projects, which will give a great perspective of the overall services needed. William has already started to sketch out and design a few concept buildings for personal projects, which will be turned into full designs as soon as possible, look out for that in Case Studies.
It’s also important to PTAD that our apprentice gains skills outside of pure CAD and Architecture, such as:
- Networking
- On-Site Solutions
- Industry Standards
- Networking
Just to name a few…
“I am looking forward to starting my journey here at Peter Tesar Architectural Design. I am also extremely grateful for the opportunity as not only will I be getting a Degree but also years of experience to follow, which is unrivalled”
We look forward to seeing how our new apprentice comes along!
