This is a garage conversion into an accessibility friendly accommodation to allow for easy access.
The Garage and House were originally separate buildings, which we were tasked with joining and also providing a short journey through for as less physical stress as possible for the client. The client also wanted to keep their existing retaining wall in the garden and for the building to be extended and building up off of it, which is where you can see the rear window sits. Also, for the front door and window, the client wanted the window to match as close to their house as possible, which we achieved to their satisfaction.
Overall, this was an extremely enjoyable job and a lovely finished project with the building being closely matched to the original, due to the builders choice of bricks. Although we had no direct involvement with project management, we did carry out sporadic visits due to the locality, which the clients appreciated.
The client is extremely happy with the choice of builder who was nominated, and the quality of the workmanship was first class.
