A property in the heart of Micheldever Village that requires a two storey extension to the rear providing additional floor space to the existing kitchen and diner at ground floor level and larger footprint to the existing bedrooms. The side elevation to have a single storey utility extension and a linked double garage. Both the ground and first floors benefitted from a complete make over, with continuous italian porcelain tiles throughout the ground floor, 6meter long bi-folding doors & a contemporary style kitchen. The first floor had a new bathroom which benefits now from a wet room floor arrangement, new en-suite to bedroom 2. The master bedroom having had a bespoke walk-in dressing area with hand built floor to ceiling wardrobes and units. Needless to say, decorated throughout!
Peter Tesar Architectural Design Limited have provided everything from the initial design scheme through to project management. The location being in a conservation area, planning needed to be sympathetic to the surrounding area. Following a successful planning and conservation application, building regulation approval was achieved followed by providing a schedule of works which accompanied the design scheme for a select tender process. Four tenders had been sought and the successful principal contractor nominated, the contract being awarded to ASP Murphy builders.
